The alter ego is a game that takes you through the stages of life trying to think of the repercussions of the decision you make. The stages of the game starts at the infancy stage and only progresses to the next stage after you have had several experiences. However there is no need to detail each and every experience that occurs in your life as the minor ones are expected to be ignored. Instead you are presented with a tree that is branching to represent the different experiences in your life. The experience begins with the social, physical and emotional. The family is also part of the beginning experience and is later followed by vocational. When you click on one of the activities you get the chance to detail the important events that happens in your life. This may range from an activity like the time you spend with your family to your first kiss. You get a choice to express your feelings about the action and also the reaction you have to it. In other words you make a choice of the feeling and the action and then click on the ‘next’ button. You are later presented with the outcome and this affects your statistics. This usually touches on your details such as the personality, the intellect and the kind of life you live.

A whole page is dedicated o the various statistics that you get. This can be accessed by clicking on the graph icon. However it can be frustrating if you try to micromanage them. So in order for you to be able to have the best experiences that are more realistic it is important for you to spare the statistics and only have a glance at them once in a while. Instead you should concentrate on enjoying the experiences of the game.
